The combination of herbs in Withania Complex contain many compounds including steroidal compounds (including the complex mixture of steroidal saponins called ginsenosides), alkaloids, triterpenoid saponins (especially glycyrrhizin), other saponins and many flavonoids. The Korean Ginseng component is standardised to contain 1.86 mg of ginsenosides per tablet to ensure optimal strength and quality.

Cautions and Warnings: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder or diabetes, or if you are taking antidepressants, blood thinners, vasodilators (dilate the vascular system to treat heart conditions), and any product to treat atrial fibrillation (a heart rhythm disorder), anti hypertensives (for high blood pressure). Consumption with alcohol, other drugs or natural health products with sedative properties in not recommended. Do not use if you are taking diuretics, cardiac glycosides, immune-suppressants, stimulant laxatives or other product which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; or if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Some people may experience insomnia, anxiety or headaches, in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.
